Houston Rooney helps with IR35 and taxes

Houston Rooney is a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Glasgow, but with clients throughout the UK, who provide accountancy, tax and related financial assistance to small and medium sized businesses. The firm has two trading divisions, one dealing with general business clients, and the other dealing with contractor clients. This website has been designed for the use of individuals who are thinking of contracting or indeed are already in the contracting business.
February 2008 Houston Rooney has changed its business name to GRANTS. This has been done since the original founders of the business (Messrs Houston & Rooney) no longer have anything to do with the business and as such the name no longer seems appropriate. Alistair Grant (Managing Director) has been a Partner/Director in the business for 19 years and feels that the time is right to have “his name on the door” as he looks forward to another chapter in the business. The only other change is that the business is moving to new premises at Centrum Offices, 38 Queen Street, Glasgow, G1 3BX All other aspects will remain the same and the existing Directors and Staff who currently deal with clients affairs will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
